The best way to reach us depends on what you need. QuickSnap is an independent project, so replies are not guaranteed to be instant, but every message is read.

Report a bug or ask for a feature

Open an issue on our public issue tracker on GitHub. You need a free GitHub account. Issues are public, so everyone can see them and add details.

To help us fix a problem quickly, please include:

  • Your operating system and version (for example Windows 10 22H2, or macOS 15 on Apple Silicon).
  • The QuickSnap version and which installer you used.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot if it helps, but check it first for private details. See how to hide sensitive information.

Privacy requests and other private matters

Because issues are public, please do not put personal or confidential details in them. Open an issue that says you have a privacy request, or a question you would rather not discuss in public, without the details, and we will arrange a better way to continue.

How the site and the app handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Security concerns

If you believe you have found a security problem in QuickSnap or this website, please do not describe it in a public issue. Open an issue that says only that you have a security report, with no technical details, and we will arrange a private way to receive it.

Downloads and installation help

  • Where to download and what works today: Get QuickSnap.
  • Windows or macOS warns about the installer: that is expected, because the preview installers are unsigned. Check the SHA-256 checksum on the download page.
  • Print Screen does nothing: another program probably owns the key. The Options window in QuickSnap explains the fix, and our guide on taking screenshots has more.
